Entrance exams are one of the major parts of the selection process for most of the professional courses that are offered by the universities and hence cracking the entrance exam is important. For BBA courses a number of colleges or universities have their own entrance exam designed that checks the capability of students on many levels and on the basis of that, the selection process is moving forward. This process will help to evaluate the student and hence if he or she is eligible then awarding them with the admission in the desired BBA program.
Parts of entrance exam
Each and every Entrance exam constitutes of the number of parts from which the capability of a candidate is determined. These parts mostly constitute of the sections that determine the analytical and thinking capabilities of a candidate and can test them on various grounds. Thus making the entrance test as an effective method to select the right candidates and hence making the admission process unbiased and where equal opportunities are given to each and every person. Quantitative aptitude
Quantitate aptitude is the section in which the mathematical and quantitate capability of the candidate is judged by giving him the question that requires more calculation and an analytical approach. Some of the topics that constitute with the problems like trains and speed and distance and work is done questions. These questions are time-consuming and hence needs to be done in right time. You need to practice these questions as much as possible, in order to score well in this section.
Logical Reasoning
Logical Reasoning is the part of the entrance exam that deals with the thinking ability of a person and hence being in the right mind and creating a right approach in order to ace this part is very important. A question like arrangements, blood relation, Venn diagrams are the subset of this section and hence most of the questions require deep thinking. In order to score well in this exam, work on the core concept and problem-solving is required so that time during these questions will be conserved.
Verbal Ability
Verbal ability is the English-based questions in the examination that checks the knowledge of language and ability to understand the contextual background of anything. These are mostly English based questions that are important in order to check the communication skills and mental presence about the language. These are simple questions and practice of the English language and reading good literature will always help you to ace this examination.

General knowledge and current affairs
This is the fourth section of the examination that checks the various knowledge and awareness about the present society and only helps in order to determine whether the person have a better understanding of the society or not. This section is most scoring as the appropriate facts are only asked in this set and hence making it easily predictable and can be scored high. Thus making this section of the high importance and can be scored well as per the prediction and if facts were right.
Business aptitude
Business aptitude is optional section. By optional, it is not always been a part of all the entrance exam but from the past few years, a number of universities are opting to go with this section in their entrance exams. This section includes questions that check the commerce knowledge of the person and ability to understand how well they understand the foundation of the syllabus, thus making it as an important judgment parameter for the selection process of the present batch.
The concept of sectional cutoff
The sectional cutoff is the concept that is followed in the evaluation of many entrance exams. In this method, a small of the least score needs to be cleared among the each section of the examination in order to pass the examination. In case your score in one section is very high and for the other section, you didn’t clear the sectional cut off your score and rank will still be disregarded and hence your result will not be considered. Thus making this parameter important to look for. And hence preparation should be done in such a way that sectional cutoff needs to be cleared.
