Dear Aspirant,

I am surprised by your career concern.

BBA being a management under-graduate course, how did you develop interest and knowledge about the psychology field? Are you sure that you are interested in psychology and would like to continue in that career whole life? I hope you are not taking such decision under anyone's influence or too much friendly advices. Firstly I would suggest you to re-think about decision and thinking.

Psychology course can be pursued at under graduate and post graduate level.

After BBA you can go for MA Psychology.

Before that I would suggest you to attempt the Ideal Career Test which is a psychometric test available at CareerGuide.com. This will clear all and any other confusions or dilemmas in your mind and will tell you which career suits you best.

Best wishes

Hi There,

I would just like to add here that Masters is a specialization to the Graduate degree one pursue. In short knowing about a subject in details.

Thus though you could pursue a MA in Psychology, please note that before you apply and get a seat, you would have to appear for 6 papers in Psychology, similiar to what a full time BA in Psychology student has studied. Only then you would be eligible.

In-case if you do not wish to appear for the papers, then please note that, then you would be eligible for MA in Special education and MA in guidance and counseling as well as few University offers you MA in Counseling ( General Counseling)

Wish you good luck

Dear Afra

Hoe you are doing good.

You could go in for some certificate courses or PG diploma offered by institutions like Indian Institute of Counselling. Many institutions offer distance learning/online programs that you can choose. Once you complete these certificate/diploma programs you can go for a formal MA Degree.
