Dear Swati Vasisht
Dear Aspirant,
If you have decided to leave teaching field, then you qualifications of MEd will not be of any use in the corporate industry.
However now that you are MEd, why dont you pursue PhD from a State University? For teaching profession, having a PhD is very essential for a stable and secure career. With this you will be able to teach in colleges and higher education courses too.
I think by not thinking of PhD you are limiting your growth and getting frustrated.
Teaching is definitely a financially stable career option only if you are a good qualified and 'real' teacher.
Best wishes
Hi Swati,
Teaching is one of the most elite & divine professionas. It's not just a profession but a lifestyle.
YOU are directly reponsible for the happiness of hunderds and thousands of individuals. Students rely on you, trust on and belive that you would help them become better individuals.
Unlike yesteryears, even the financials of educational professionas has drastically increased. Most of the PVT Schools does pay on par with industry standards (Depends on locations)
I think YOU should be super proud of being a Tecaher and upgrade your exposure towards the same
Happy Careers!! and Chers
Really appreciate your concern. Would suggest you to give a thought that you want to change your profession only for financial gain or you need a change.
Option 1: Financial gain in the current profession, if you have interest to continue - Home tuition, tuition center, specific subjects, language specialist and skill development.
Option 2: Change of career or lack enthusiasm in the current job - know your passion, explore earning potential, know your skill relevant to the job and develop it.
Job opportunities are very huge. Without knowing your complete profile suggesting a job doesn't really add value. Think and Explore!
Best wishes Swati!
Hello Swati
I would like to talk about the financial concern first. You can earn well by joining reputed schools or private tuition institute or you can start your own home based tuitions. Also many websites provide opportunity to connect online with the students.
However, if you are not interested in the teaching profile, you can learn skills relevant to your graduation eg. If you are arts students with ‘history’ as a major, you can learn more about ‘museology’ or a foreign language. Think about your soft skills and hobbies and you can explore new career accordingly. Now a day’s one can earn well by pursuing hobbies like photography, adventure sports, etc.
All the best
