I am a Web Developer with experience in teaching graduation students as well. I have lost my interest in development I wanted to ask what step can I take in my career that helps me remain in IT but I can be in the management side of IT?

Dear Aspirant,

I am very surprised by everybody's inclination to get into management side of the organisation.

Please understand that, you are having a teaching experience which is not recognised in a IT corporate job. Next it is also not relevant for management side of IT.

Job in the management side of any business organisation cannot come just like that just because the candidate wants it. You need to have the relevant work experience, rich domain knowledge and good soft skills.

I feel, you should concentrate on making your self competent - skills and domain knowledge wise and for that you need to join an IT company leaving your teaching sector. Atleast 5-8 years of work experience makes you eligible for management side job in IT.

Best wishes
