Hello Suraj,
Being an engineer, are you sure you wish to move into the media field.
Be sure and then mAake a move.
As such media is a field where the more you gain experience the more you are valued over your degree or certificates.
Never the less, you could pursue a PG Diploma in mass communication a 2 years course. For which you would have to first clear an entrance exam.
Or else you could apply to various publication or media agency. Prepare a strong and attractive resume. Most importantly, a strong cover letter, stating why you wish to pursue career as a journalist and what kind of change are you expecting through your writing.
If you know someone who could refer you that would be the advantage. Or else, keep applying.
Wish you good luck...
Hi Suraj.. to be a part of TV journalism, You will have to pursue masters in Mass Communication and Journalism. If you are lucky to get admission in leading institutes like AJK Mass Communication, Symbiosis, IIMC, Lovely Professional University etc you can easily find your job partner through campus placements. These institutes are also giving more exposure to the students by conducting workshops, guest lectures, and field visits regularly. You are also have a chance to get scholarships.
