Hi
Hello Dear Aspirant,Welcome to career guide.comThanks for approaching and writing us your career query.
Good to hear you have been applying for the CA course.
CA has been one of the career profession which is gaining a great popularity in the recent years.CA is a professional who is supposed to handle all the accounts and auditing and tax related works of an individual and also of the corporate companies. CA professionals have a great career demand in India as well as in Foreign countries.
The Demand for CA professionals is high but the supply is very less. Every year Indian Market requires around 50,000 CA professionals in various sectors. CA profession is one if the outmost career in the field of commerce while it is also considered to be one of the respectful and prestigious career.
Students aspiring to make a career in CA have a great demand .
When we are thinking to opt for a particular career its very much necessary to know the pros and cons of that career. Doing research and taking advice from the experts always helps us to choose the career.
Answering your query i would suggest you that to go for B.com commerce rather than going for BBA.If you go with a BBA the course is a management course and doing BBA and CA together will be quite heavy for studies because both of the course they are professional courses and have a very heavy studies. So managing both the studies at a time will be quite difficult and this will take you to gain nothing. While a BBA student at the time of admission is taken an undertaking in the application form that student wont be allowed to enroll themselves for the CA course.
Go with the B.com this wont be stressful for you while doing CA and you also complete your Degree by the time you complete your CA. Be focused on your both the courses CA and B.Com. B.com is the pillar of your career life. One must have a proper regular graduation degree. CA is not considered as a degree its considered as Professional Parttime course.
I hope you find this information relevant to your career query.
Feel free to get in touch again.
Wish you Good Luck
Thank You
Warm Regards,Prathamesh K.
Hi There,
Please note that CA is a certification course and you need a degree to support your basic qualification. Both BBA and B.Com are good option.
But please note that BBA or management course would involve a lot of project work, presentations, group projects and activity and most importantly internship which is a must for you to get your degree. At the same time, you may be involved the whole day, lectures happening over the whole day period , as well as sitting back to complete your project.
In the meanwhile B.Com is a theoretical course, whereby college lectures are in the morning half and your free in the whole evening. It is followed by only term exams and few projects given which can be completed soon.
Now CA being a certificate course, but it needs double the time needed for any other course or certificates. You need to dedicate all your time and effort to studying CA.
Thus, looking at the time dedication to pursue CA, as a counselor I would recommend a B.Com degree than BBA. Also B.Com subjects can help you while studying CA too, and you have the entire time dedicated to studying CA.
Hope this helps you in your decision making process.Wish you good luck.........
