Hello dear student,

I would like to highlight the eligibility criteria to do marine engineering for any student. Please read the below listed criteria's to now where you stand:

  • First student should should pass twelve exams, repeat or not does not matter much.

  • Second is he/ she must have PCM that is physics, chemistry and maths as subjects in twelve standard.

  • Third is he/ she should have a descent score in twelve standard and the minimum percentage is sixty percent 60%.For almost most of the entrance for marine engineering it is the standard percent for eligibilty criteria.

  • Fourth is the student needs to submit all the certificate at the time of admission when called

  • Fifth criteria is the minimum age for marine engineering course is between 17-25 years of age group.

  • Sixth is they need to apply for marine engineering after clearing twelve standard exams.

Those all who are meeting the above eligibility criteria need to apply for entrance test they can apply in the month of January itself as per the given notifications.

The exams are generally conducted in the month of April and may.The application procedure to apply is both online and offline, both are available which ever is choosed and convenient and be followed.

Hope all the above clarification answered your query very well and now you are clear that you can do marine engineering after repeating twelve standard also, but sixty percent in PCM physics, chemistry and maths is must for that. Now you know what you need to do, where you stand as per the eligibilty criteria's.

All the best for your bright future and career growth in coming years
