Dear Friend,
Greetings of the day!!!!
You have got a very important decision to take and both are equally important, its like a sword where you need to have both as equal importance in fight.
SRCC : Shree Ram college is the name which is so big that it could make your career just with the admission to the college. In fact getting into a prestigious college like SRCC is so difficult that only few student get a change to get admission there. In case you have opportunity to get into SRCC then you should definitely take admission in to SRCC.
CA : Chartered Accountancy is one of the most respected and desired course in Commerce. In fact today CA is one o f the course which is required for any work in finance. CA is very competitive and requires lot of time for one to reach the desired goal.
But the best option which you have and should be done is that you should take admission into SRCC and register for CA CPT, once you clear CPT you would be able to register for stage 2: ipcc and give the exam of IPCC ...normally the sllaybus and course of IPCC is college course of First year B.com.
After finishing Your IPCC you are required to do 3 and 1/2 year of Article ship under a CA which you can opt to do after your B.com and thus you would have a chance to do both together. many Student of SRCC get into Big four firms for Audit due to the brand and knowledge of SRCC.
I hope you query is resolved.
All the best!!!!
HI there,
I dont understand the reason for your confusion.
You got me confused when you just wrote SRCC. On searching, I got to know its is the best renowned College in Delhi and not the name of a course.
So here the confusion does not exists.
Although I do agree that CA is a professional certificate and is quite a known course in the market and in terms of jobs too, and it does not need a certificate or degree to support it. It is a qualification all by itself. But when you look at the job market, they do demand a degree whether you are professionally certified or not.
Here then, you should opt for Graduation from the SRCC college and can choose Accounts as a specialization, and at the side get along with the CA course.
Please note that along with your 12th, you would have to cl;ear the CA Basic level.
For more information on the levels of CA, please check, www.icai.org
Please do note that CA is a professional course and requires your complete time and effort. More hours dedicated to only the study and classes related to CA.
Wish you good luck.........
CA if u can pass it .
