Maam, I got a chance in Jogomaya Devi College with B.Sc gen. Maam I am also very much aware that one cannot do M.Sc in CU with gen course. So my question is, is there any good university(not an open) in India where M.Sc can be done with gen B.Sc course?

Hello Riddhi,

Firstly, a masters course is a specialization course, meaning getting more knowledge on the subject one has specialised in.

Secondly, when you know, CU, will not allow you an M.Sc because you have no specialization, why dont you opt for a specialization or honors??

As a counselor, I would suggest instead of looking elsewhere than your hometown, opt for a specialization at the graduate level.

Apart from just a masters degree benefit, other advantage is finding a relevant job and industries know that you are not confused and have confidence in oneself too.

Anyways it is your choice.

Delhi University as well as Pune and Mumbai University provides an M.Sc to B.Sc general students.

Last but not the least, think before you leap. Is there really a need for a masters degree, when you do not have a specialization at the graduate level.?.

Wish you good luck..
