Dear Aspirant,

Thanks for putting up your query here!

Well, your question is not clear. Please elaborate you current academic qualification, your area of interest and career goals. One can be Scientist in many field like health, social sciences, engineering & technology, science etc.

In general minimum qualification to be a scientist is masters' degree in relevant area of interest. PhD in the specialization is highly preferred.

If you are not clear about your area of interest, I recommend you to take psychometric test from www.careerguide.com! This test will help you understand your aptitude, interest and personality and accordingly the report will suggest most suitable career options.

Hope this is helpful. If you have any queries, feel free to ask here. I will be happy to help you.

With Best Wishes,
