For pursuing MBA,a student must have completed graduation from a recognized university with 50% (for General category) / 45% (for reserved category). Along with that you need to appear and clear entrance exam. There are various MBA entrance exams and depending on your choice of city/university/college you can decide which exam to pursue. After entrance exam, the student needs to clear group discussion and personal interview round. Merit list/rank list is prepared according to performance of all the three phases.
If you are in final year of graduation you can appear for entrance exam and later present the mark sheet for verification.Following is the list of few well known MBA entrance exams.
CAT - Common Admission Test – For admission to IIM’s
XAT – Xavier Aptitute Test – For admission to XLRI
CMAT - Common Management Admission Test – For admission to all AICTE approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges.
SNAP - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test - For admission to MBA programs in the Institutes affiliated with Symbiosis university's affiliated colleges
These tests include questions based on various factors like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Interpretation Language Comprehension and General Awareness.
