The departments and subjects in dentistry are divided into 4 years, with yearly examinations. In the first year the subjects are General Anatomy,Histololy and Embryology , General Physiology , Biochemistry , Dental Anatomy, Histology and Embryology. Second Year comprises of Human Pathology, General Pharmacology, Microbiology, Dental Materials and Pre - Clinical Operative and Prosthetics. In the third year the subjects are General Surgery, General Medicine, Oral Pathology and Microbiology , and Preventive and Community Dentistry. The final year of Dental Surgery has only dental subjects that are Oral Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Periodontics, Pedodontics, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.
