Lawyers may start private practice on their own or may join senior lawyer as an assistant or junior in his /her private practice. In major cities , young lawyers may join law firms which hire a large number of lawyers in both junior and senior capacities.

Hi Friend,

The first and the easiest and most popular step now a days Law Graduates does is that they try to get a job in an LPO ( Legal Process Outsourcing). This is a very different kind of a job for any of the Law Graduate since they will not have an idea of what LPO does untill and unless you go for an interview and you come to know. In this field the foreign law firms or corporation outsource their legal work to LPO and LPOs will do legal work on the clients behalf. By doing this you can get a good amount of money which is 20 to 25 thousand minimum for any law graduate fresher.

further if yoy dont want to work under someone and want to do somthing by yourself then you can start going to courts and start your own practice by building up your own clinttale. For doing this you will atleast need 5 yearsfrom the day you start practicing individually.

There are also chnaces that you can get a job in any of the good law firms as a Legal Associate/Assistant where your job will be to assist senior lawyer in drafting, preparing briefs going to courts for adjournments and all. It is one kind of a job only under a senior lawyer. By doing this also you can earn a good amout of money ranging from 20000 to 25000.

There are other options also available like to go abroad for further studies and to appear for their bar counsil's exam and become a lawyer for their country and work as an individiual or do your own practice, its tuff but in a long run that the best option available.

I hope I have answered your question.

Best luck,

Thanks

Ravi
