Hi Meenakshi,

Great to know that you are interested in LAW and the counselor above has mentioned University that provides LAW.

But my question to you is what is the connection of Medical with LAW.

Medical and LAW are two different fields and require varied aptitudes.

You can pursue LAW, after 12th, which would be a 5 years course, but sensing from your question.
Preferably you could pursue LLB, after completing your Graduation.

Law as a career is one of the respectable career . Many students aspire to make a career in law. Lawyer is a person who studies the law and interprets them for the layman. The work of lawyer is now not restricted to the court rooms it has moved much beyond . Lawyers are needed in the various work settings like Coporates,Banks,Financial Institutes etc.

In order to opt for the law there are two ways to go for it -
1. Apply for 5 year law course after completing 12th irrespective of your stream.
2.Apply for 3 years law course after completing graduation degree irrespective of your stream.

In order to go for the studies in law one can be a student of any stream.While there are entrance exams conducted which every student have to give and than they are admitted for the course. CLAT is the national level entrance exam conducted and whose score is accepted across india while there are colleges and universities that conduct the entrance exams like BCLAT,SET etc.
