The dream of all the medical aspirants is to get into the top colleges and universities. They work hard to convert their dreams into reality. Students often prepare for NEET, AIPMT and all another kind of entrance exam just with the motive to get into the top colleges. This is important to set a goal in your life. If you set an appropriate and realistic goal nobody can stop you from achieving them.

AIIMS, Delhi

AIIMS has made it possible to retain number one position for a very long time. The government aided college has a highly reputed staff and amazing teaching facilities.

The above-mentioned things add-on to making it a top institute. The cut-offs are extremely high and it is very difficult to get admission into it. Below is mentioned the procedure to get into this college:

Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi

Candidates who wish to take admission in Maulana Azad Medical College must clear NEET examination. Admission is strictly on the basis of merit list that is released by the college. There are special vacancies for NCR region students. They are provided with domicile quota.

Eligibility:-
- Student must be of Indian Nationality
- The lower age limit must be 17 and the upper limit is 25. However, 5 years extra are provided to SC/ST/OBC.
- Candidate must have passed the12th or equivalent examination. However, students who have studied 12th through open are not eligible for the MAMC.
- Candidate must be a student of Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English in class 12th.

Process: -
The admission process is not complicated. It is a three step process.

Christian Medical College, Vellore

The basic requirement for the application is that a student must have passed class 12th by ant board. There is a domicile quota available to those who have done 12th under Tamil Nadu Board.

The college has its own examination.


Online Test
The online test is conducted which consists of 60 questions which are to be answered in 120 minutes. The questions are related to Physics, Zoology, Biology, Botany, and Chemistry.

 

The above test will be further followed by a set of 120 questions which will be divided into further 2 parts.
Part 1:- 60 ques, 50 minutes
Part 2:- 60 ques, 20 Minutes.
This is conducted to check general ability, speed, and accuracy of the student.

As this is a Christian college, all the Christians are supposed to pass an eligibility test which would consist of 50 multiple choice questions from Bible

Those who clear the above mentioned online test can see for their admit card on the official website of the college. The admit card is generally published in the week of June,which is the first set of online examination.


Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research,           Pondicherry

  • Candidate must of Indian nationality.
  • Candidate must have at least 50% in class 12th
  • The lower age limit is 17 years and there is no upper age limit.
  • Online admit card will be put up on the official website of the college.
  • Biometric fingerprint and photo verification are done of the students who pass the examination.
  • A merit list is based on the minimum percentile set up by the college.

Armed Forces Medical College, Pune

AFMC, Pune has its own eligibility criteria which are mentioned below:-
- The student must be an Indian citizen.
- Lower age limit is 17 and upper age limit is 21.
- Students must have passed 12th in the first attempt with a minimum of 605 marks in the class 12th examination.
- Students must have studied English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Students must have passed Mathematics in class 10th.
- Students must have cleared NEET examination

Procedure:-
- The candidate is requested to fill in the online application form before the last date goes. The registration fee is Rs. 250/-.
- Those who have passed NEET will be called for Toler and Personal interview.
- ToLER is an online test which consists of 40 MCQ’s of 2 marks each. It checks the English language and general reasoning.
- The marks that the candidate scores in ToLER will be added with NEET result of the candidate and then be divided by 4.
- Merit list will be made on the basis of NEET, ToLER, and interview.

Grant Medical College, Mumbai

Whosoever wants to take up admission in Grant Medical College, Mumbai, has to pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted (NEET) which is conducted by CBSE.

The interested students are required to pass class 12th with minimum 50% and must have Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English taken together.

You can look up for the syllabus of NEET and prepare accordingly. It held only once a year and is an offline mode of examination
