What is BCA?
BCA stands for bachelor in computer application is a three year under graduate degree course which takes you through the basics of computer application.
Topics like-
Are the core subjects in BCA? One learns about all the basics and foundational subjects which are essential to know in IT industry.
After doing BCA you can do number post-graduation courses or simply can go for a job to gain experience, the starting salary may be less but as you gain experience your salary will rise pretty fast.
One may need to do MCA due to requirements by a company, it’s a two year course and after doing BCA and MCA students have a wide range of government and public sector jobs available to them.

Difference between BCA and B-TECH
Many students have confusion in choosing between btech and BCA. There is lot of similarities in both the courses as both are in area of computer related applications.
B-tech is mostly chosen by students who wish to be engineer in IT sector or software developer. B-tech is 4year course and students after completing go for M.TECH where’s after completing BCA student go for MCA. BCA compared to B.TECH is less technical and students from the stream of Arts and commerce can also do BCA whereas only science students can opt for B.TECH.

(IBSAR) is a very well known college due to its various under graduates and Post- graduate’s programmes in fields of Human Resource, Marketing, Banking sector and many more. It was established in 2006 and has a very good placement record and is recognized as one of the best colleges of Maharashtra.
IBSAR has its own hostel as many students come from different states and is also AICTE approved. Admission is through MAT and CAT exams and the college also has its interview process which is the last stage of admission.
NIM is a private College Admission is done on the basis of 12th marks but they also have their own exam which is a bit difficult to crack.
The main area where this college is better is in providing short term courses and for its distant learning. Students may do distant BCA if he/she has a problem in attending regular college.
The fees are also relatively low compared to other private colleges.

This college was established in 1937 in Mumbai and its well known for it beautiful campus which a huge computer labs, swimming pool banking facilities for students inside the campus itself.

SXC is a well-known institute for many years now. It has developed its own academic system which is unique and quite successful in training its students. The whole St.Xavier is very famous for its hands-on extra-curricular activities. It has developed a system in which stress is not only given on book but practical knowledge.
It has excellent infrastructure with latest technology and the syllabus is updated every year to make necessary changes. You can expect this college to be on another level and it is compared to many international colleges.
