We want you to be confident in your purchase. This policy explains trials, cancellations, and refunds for CareerGuide subscriptions, counsellor licences, and 1-on-1 counselling services.
Eligible plans include a free trial. You will not be charged during the trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends to avoid being billed.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid term.
If you were charged in error, or you cancel within 7 days of your first payment and have not made substantial use of the service, contact us for a full refund. Beyond that window, fees for the current term are generally non-refundable, as access has been provided. Counsellor/institution licences are sold on agreed terms; refund eligibility for unused seats will be assessed case-by-case.
This section covers our 1-on-1 services: the Career Counselling session, the NEET / JEE / CUET counselling plans (Plan and Mentor), and the Study Abroad profile-building programme. Fees for these services are refundable in full any time before work starts. Work starts when we schedule your first session, share your psychometric career assessment, or begin deliverable work on your engagement — whichever happens first.
Once work has started, fees cover counsellor time and preparation already committed and are generally non-refundable. For season-long or multi-month engagements (such as a Mentor plan or the Study Abroad programme), if you cancel partway we will assess a fair resolution case-by-case based on the work completed.
Some services are paid directly on our website via Razorpay (for example, the Career Counselling session); others are paid through a secure payment link sent after a scheduling call. The same refund terms apply either way. If you need to reschedule a booked session, contact us — rescheduling does not affect your refund eligibility before work starts.
Email support@careerguide.com with your registered email and payment reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days.
