Hello

Thanks for visiting us at Careeer Guide.com!!!

Computer science is a well established field and I am so glad you choose this branch of engineering. You can definitely study either ME/ MTech or MBA after studing BE. Computer science engineering. Doing an MBA or ME depends on your interest in business or a technical subject like computer science. Lots of students choose MBA as the default option and I request you to carefully think and consider why you want to study an MBA. Never study a degree because everybody on the Earth is flocking to the MBA degree.

All you need now to do is spend a few minutes on this website to test your interest and matching stream for your career. For this I recommend you to take up the Online Psychometric Career Assessment from this website CareerGuide.com. This assessment will read your personality and will recommend you if you are suitable to studying an MBA degree or the ME degree. MBA degree is a pure business and management degree and completing it you will have no relations to technical work. You will most often be engaged with managing or leading your team. On the other hand, an ME degree will give you in depth knowledge in technical aspects and you will not study any modules related to business and management. So ask yourself if you like business oriented subject or a technical oriented subject and make your decision accordingly. Both the degrees are professional degrees and together they have a bright future. the earning potential is also pretty similar with these two degrees.

Top colleges in India for ME Computer science:

Top colleges for MBA in India are:
8. XLRI

I would also like to inform you that if you are pretty confused between choosing MBA or ME, then you can combine these two subject and guess how, you can study MBA in Information management or an MBA in systems management. Completing this degree you can work in IT companies at manager positions and this way you can lead and work in technical projects. Not many universities offer this specialisation and very few does, however you need to write and crack CAT exam to be eligible to apply for MBA admissions. Hope this helps. If you have any questions further, please write back to us. Good luck.
