Hello Mamta,

You can pursue to masters after doing B.Sc. When you have M.Sc. degree you can apply for CSIR NET Exam. It is the outstanding opportunity for those who are willing to make their career as lecturer or researcher.

To apply for this you should have masters' degree with minimum 55% if you belong to General or OBC Category of if you are from SC/ST/Pwd category then you should have 50% aggregate percentage.

Maximum age to appear for exam is 28 but SC/ST/female applicants/OBC/PWD have 5 years relaxation in age limits.

Hi

After B.Sc in microbiology you can work as:

  • Biomedical scientist.
  • Biotechnologist.
  • Clinical research associate.
  • Food technologist.
  • Healthcare scientist, immunology.
  • Microbiologist.
  • Nanotechnologist.
  • Pharmacologist.

The most important thing is that from where you pursue your post graduation. It’s better to choose good institute or university which offers you good practical and industrial exposure, good placements like Lovely Professional University, Symbiosis Institute of business management, Christ university and few others.

I hope it helps.
