To be a fashion designer, simply you need to have complete knowledge about designing especially fashion, colour, cloth texture trends going on etc.
Please note that to be a fshion designer, you have two options.
One you can opt for a certificate course in Fashion designing that will help you learn the basic and horne your skills rather help you understand what fashion designing is all about and know your skills in the same field.
Another option is, to pursue a full time degree course in designing, which is a 4 1/2 year course. This course can be pursued by any 12th pass student, after clearing the entrance exam conducted by many colleges independently.
The entrance tests consist of imagination, creativity and logic question to judge your ability followed by a round of personal interview. Create a portfolio of your designing abilities before you attend the interview to create an impression.
After you Gradaute either you begin to work under a designer or a designer house to gain experience and then you could opt for a masters degree. After that you have chances to begin on your won too, but not without contacts and building your own name.
