Just to tell you about myself, I am an Educationist and have been career counselling many students for more than seven years now. I am also into teaching and have been also into writing articles and research papers on various topics including career management for reputed newspapers and magazines published across the nation.

I appreciate the fact that you like jewellery and would like to become a model . Also I understand that your family does not support this thought.

My Dear, please understand that there is no concept like jewellery modelling as a specialised career in the art and film industry. You can definitely become a good model. Collecting and wearing jewellery is different than being a model only for that in the industry. These two are not connected.

I suppose that you are very good looking with good vital stats. If this is so, you can surely get into modelling field. There are institutions who train you to become a model and also help you to get famous by getting modelling assignments.

If your family is opposing this idea of being a model, then may be you should really find out why they are saying this. I suppose that they are not allowing you to choose this field due to the bad instances happening with women like rapes, extra marital affairs, black mailing, exploitation, etc. In a way they are right and you appreciate that they are worried and care for you very much and do wish that you get into any problem in future due to modelling industry.

But if you are your self sure that modelling is the right and appropriate field, then you should get your parents convinced through your friends, contacts and from those who are in the field and have done some work in the industry.

My Dear, do not get disheartened but always remember that any career field you choose you should be hundred percent sure and confident.

Lastly you say that modelling is the only thing which you can do and nothing else, please get a psychometric test done at CareerGuide.com which will tell you your strenghts and weaknesses and will help you to choose some career option which you have not thought of but you are actually made for that and competent enought for that.

Only I would like to mention here is that, since you like to collect jewelry and wear them, it would be an excellent idea if you could hold exhibitions of the jewelry during cultural fests or puja or any other occasions.
