Well teaching is the one of the best jobs worldwide. Without knowing the current stand of your career I would like to suggest you several pathways to become a teacher at different level:1. Start from primary school teacher: It requires 12th pass to graduation and then sit in the state level qualifying exams to be conducted by all state govt. Alternatively you can join any nearby private convent school if you have best persona and communication skills. Govt and private both have different scale and grade of salary please do mind it.2. Next at middle school level: As per govt norms you have to qualify TAT (Teaching Aptitdude Test) after graduation and desirably Master and as per your speciliazation at UG and PG level you will be given the posting in a middle school. Again you can join any private or convent like primary teacher, again salary description applies like point 1.3. Higher Secondary or Intermediat College level School/College offer teaching jobs to only B.Ed /M.Ed with Bachelor and Master degree. Several Universities offer Education degree distantly as well as full time One year course for UG and another year for PG. It is an excellent opportunity for aspirants due to mass recruitment. CBSC/ICSC/NCERT also offers jobs for such degree holder, also private school like DPS/AIS/DAV offers you good package.
Teaching is a wonderful field and for those who have the passion towards students and sharing knowledge without expecting much in return. Teaching is not a field where you can earn lakhs n lakhs of rupees sitting at one place and bossing around. This field gives a person much more which cannot be counted in terms of money or salary. Today majority of institutes in India are facing faculty shortage (management schools, under graduate colleges, etc) This shortage is due to the non liking of people towards teaching field. And also due to the shortage of skilled knowledge of sectors. To be a good teacher you need to have qualifications to qualify for a particular post but apart from that you also need to be a good orator and should have the skill to make students listen to you attentively. For becoming a teacher at unde graduate level, you need to complete B.ED qualification. For post graduate teaching you need to qualify for NET or SET examinations of UGC which are conducted twice a year by UGC. A PhD later is the ultimate thing you should aim for becoming a stable teacher or professor or head of any department.
