Dear Akansha kalra
Dear Akansha,
Thanks for putting up your query! Can you please provide the full form of ISBF? Do you refer to Indian School of Business and Finance, New Delhi?
If you are interested in doing MBA and plan to become a human resource professional, I encourage you to do BBA/BBM from UGC recognized institutions.
For management professionals, post graduate course is crucial and doing post graduate course from premier institution will bring lots of career opportunities.
Graduate courses are important in terms of orienting self with the subject and decide future professional area. Graduate course must build basic knowledge and skills related to the domain, while post graduate course build advanced knowledge, skill through practical exposure. For job, post-graduation from reputed institutions is very crucial. Minimum eligibility for post-graduate management courses is any graduation with 55%. Therefore, I am in the opinion to do graduate courses from any UGC recognized university or institutions and do post-graduation from premier institutions.
As per your query, I recommend you to do BBA/BBM from any State Universities or UGC recognized institutions. Along with BBA/BBM, prepare systematically for MBA entrance exams llike CAT/XAT/MAT. ISBF is private institution and courses are very expensive too. I do not recommend you to spend money for graduate courses, rather do post-graduate courses from premier institutions like IIM/XLRI/Symbiosis/SP Jain etc.
Before you decide your career pathways, I recommend you to take up Ideal Career Test that will help you understand your strengths, interest and personality traits, which will help you take informed decision about your career.
Hope this has resolved your query. If you still have questions, feel free to write back.
Best Wishes for your bright career,
Apurva Kumar Pandya, PhD
Dear Aspirant,
ISBF is a good Institute and they offer Diploma of LSE and University of London.
However ISBF is best known and recognised for Finance / Economics courses. if you are interested in Human Resource Management, I would recommend MBA in HR from a recognised University and Institute of high ranking.
PGDM in HR is also good if it is from Top 15 BSchool.
Best wishes
