Hi There,

Firstly when you say a career in Law and Constitution what do you mean by that??

Do you wish to get into politics or law??

To study LAW, you have 2 options.

Either after class 12th, you could opt for a 5 years degree course. To secure admission in this course, you need to clear the entrance test called CLAT. CLAT helps you secure admission in various law schools governed by National Law Schools.

The course makes you eligible either for a B.Sc or BA or BBA LLB degree. Difference being the subject offered in each specialization. After this you can get into practice or pursue MA LLB. Which helps you specialise in one aspect of LAW. You can choose from corporate to civil to property to criminal to marriage LAWS.

Choice is yours.

Another option is after Graduation in any stream, you could opt for a 3 years LLB degree. As such you can combine this degree or Graduation with Commerce and opt for either a CA or CS especially CS, since LAW is a part of the CS course.

To appear for CS, you would have to begin early, just like CA.

Another option you have is, you could opt for Civil service exams and opt for careers like IAS, IES or IPS

For appearing for Civil service exams, that are conducted by the UPSC, you need to be a Graduate in any stream.

Preparations for Civil services should begin early. You not only need to be well read but must be able to articulate the readings in your own words. And most importantly stuck to one logic only.

You must be knowledgeable in all subjects right from history to politics to sports to nature to current affairs to past happenings too. You could join coaching classes for the same and have discussions with family or teachers,

Lastly, you could combine, that is Graduate in LAW, after 12th and then opt for Civil service exams after Graduation.

Hope this helps.

Wish you good luck...
