There is no comparision between the two courses as both represent two different generes and are important in their own respective fields.
If you are interested in technical aspects especially physics, meaning machines and their mechanisms then engineering is your field.
And if numbers or math or finance interests you then commerce is your field.
And if confused, then opt for an Aptitude test or opt for engineering degree course followed by an MBA in Finance.
