Designers are expected to be skillful in handling photography, imagery, colors, textures, patterns, graphics, animations etc

A good graphic designer need interpersonal and marketing skills, in addition to an eye for details and strong knowledge of electronic media packages.

Job prospectus:

Service sector: Graphic designers are employed by advertising firms, design companies, publishers and other businesses that need design professionals.

Academics: After Masters, one can qualify NET and work as lecturer or Assistant Professor in any academic institute. PhD would be most desirable higher study for career growth in Academics.

Entrepreneurship: One can start own designing company, advertising company or coaching classes.
