Hi guys, myself a 1st year MBBS student from Bhubaneswar. I started hating these hospital life and some clinical subjects like Anatomy. I was more inclined towards Biotechnology ever since passing 10th class. But fearing bad placements and lack of job opportunities made me study medical. Should i carry on like this or i should leave my college and waste another year to study Btech biotechnology in some private colleges at Bangalore??? For me passion is everything i.e to become a scientist. But ths can be a blind mistake. I want your query, guys??

Hi,
I have the same confusion right now.. as I have passed my 12th.. and cleared Neet but with a very low rank and got selected for btech biotech as well.. when I came to class 11th I decided that Mbbs is something which is a dream of every PCB student but I always wanted to become a scientist since I was a kid... But seeing that people has a great respect for mbbs ...and they also say that biotech didn't have much scope in our country.. I some where lack self confidence and this is why I am Soo confused and believe more on what people says ...because life has not always given me things which I expected.. like my marks in 12th board.. specially in biology.. I know that if I work hard for an year I will surely get selected in mbbs with a good rank..but will i be good in that..as the mbbs syllabus is Soo wast and more focofoc on human anatomy.. I don't wanted my self to restrict in particular one thing.. Although I may be good at that....
I am Soo confused ...and why I am Soo confused in making decisions of my own life..
